It might be called Tāmaki of a hundred lovers, but when it comes to politics there is absolutely no love lost in the electorate of Tāmaki Makaurau.
While the Māori Party has confirmed community stalwart Tunuiarangi McLean as its candidate and the Greens have announced aspiring MP Marama Davidson as theirs, the Labour Party continues to muddle its way through the nomination process.
