Native Affairs- Kōwhiri 14, Te Tai Hauāuru Part 3

Native Affairs Kōwhiri 14 - Te Tai Hauāuru electorate debate continues where more results of the Māori Television Reid Research poll results will be revealed.

Joining Mihingarangi Forbes in studio from the Māori Party is Chris McKenzie, Jack Tautokai McDonald from the Greens, representing Labour will be Adrian Rurawhe and from the MANA Movement Jordan Winiata.

Billie Jo Hohepa-Ropiha also takes us back on her journey through Te Tai Hauāuru to Waitara and after speaking with locals, it is evident that the locals appreciate all the work Tariana Turia has done.

So, she asks the candidates how they are planning to make their mark when they have such big shoes to fill?

Also in our second set of results we asked Te Tai Hauāuru, if the Māori Party held the balance of power, would you prefer they went into partnership with a National-led or Labour-led coalition?

24% of respondents said they wanted a National-led coalition, while 63% wanted a Labour-led coalition and 13% who responded didn't know.
