The parents of Paralympian Cameron Leslie journey to Turkey.

The parents of Paralympian Cameron Leslie are on a special journey to Turkey tonight.

Ross and Theresa Leslie along with their daughter were lucky enough to get ballot tickets to attend the special dawn service at ANZAC Cove in Gallipoli.

This journey has special meaning for Ross as his father Patrick Leslie served for the New Zealand army in World War II.

Patrick Leslie was born in the small Northland town of Oruawharo and is a descendant of Te Uri o Hau.

Cameron Leslie is current training for the IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow in July.
