Fans at the Auckland NRL Nines competition had to dodge the rain today to watch 16 NRL teams compete to take the winning title.
As day one of the Downer NRL Auckland Nines competition kicked off, the rain doesn't seem to have put a damper on the festive mood here at Eden Park.
However, amongst the expected 38,000 spectators, two fans feel lucky to get in for free - all because of a haka!
Two NRL9's fans were given tickets to the party of the year.
“Mate it's in our wildest dreams aye” says Hamish Day.
You might remember Jarrod Henderson and Hamish Day from yesterday. They did the haka for us to get some tickets.
Today their dream became a reality when a secret sponsor offered the duo some free tickets.
