The Black Sticks are looking good, ahead of their Rio Olympic campaign after a big win over the Argentinians.
For the first time the New Zealand side defeated the homeside in Mar del Piata back to back recording a 4-1 lead.
From the get-go, the Black Sticks were in control leading the match till halftime with a one-point lead. But in the second half the front-runners found more rhythm and pace adding another three points to the table.
Head coach Mark Hager said it was an impressive result.
Hager says, “Full credit to the girls we created a lot of opportunities and were able to put four of them away.”
