Today we reflect on the joy of Dr Ngapo and Dr Pimia Wehi and their dedication to Māori Performing Arts.

Reporter Taroi Black, lunched with them at their Auckland home in Henderson.
The occasion was to celebrate their many achievements and awards through the years.
“They were funny. They laughed a lot and they weren’t afraid to speak their minds. But what I remember most, is that he held her hand and never let go,” says Taroi.
