Council investigation on Whareroa Marae concern about air pollution

Bay of Plenty Regional Council has agreed to investigate and address health concerns raised by the Whareroa Marae community in Mount Maunganui, particularly the impact of air pollution the nearby Mount industrial area has on them. The council said it acknowledged the need to improve air quality, particularly in the Mount airshed, and has requested a health study.
