Mātātoa, the first reo Māori crossfit competition, took place in Tāmaki Makaurau over the weekend.
The competition brought 160 athletes together to battle it out in 18 teams.
Mātātoa is the first of its kind to promote and celebrate te reo Māori in a functional fitness competition.
