Rev. Dr Te Hira Paenga's thesis is the first theology PhD to be written in te reo Māori.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Otago has been recognised for contribution to decolonising Aotearoa’s research sector and legal education.

This morning the University of Otago held a ceremony to launch a new reo Māori name and tohu that was made in collaboration with mana whenua Te Rūnanga o Ōtākou.

First intake of students will be welcomed next year.
